A young boy on his horse rides along the sands of Ngwe Saung at sunset.
I post this in memory of a dear friend who passed away a few days ago, John Mortier, some of you may remember him.

Voor mij is dit een echte verrassing dat John is overleden.
Het was een geboren Gentenaar we heel veel met elkaar gegevens uitgewisseld. Hij heeft een zoon dat hier niet ver van mij woont. Bedankt voor de melding, ik wist van niets.

De zee en weerspiegeling is altijd plezant om naar te kijken
De paardrijder is een mooi toevoeging.

The horse and rider are perfectly positioned in the frame. I imagine a long beach where the horse can gallop a long way!

Quite a melancholic mood here with pastel colors of the sky.

Hi Elaine,
A simple composition but it makes a striking photo. The placement of the horse and rider on the left and the sun near the centre works well. The horse and rider seem to be alone in a wide landscape. Great sharpness and light control, without burning out the sun.
