This is another view from one of my favourite places tilicho lake.The ice in this pic was about the size of a small car.The idea here was to show the two contrasts up here with the desert landscape behind and the ice in the foreground.altitude-5200m.

Great contrast of desert, ice and water ... I would have maybe used exposure of 1/3 more than you used though

Hi Gren,
I like this one, especialy the hard light on the ice. It make the subject detaching from the rest of the composition, very nice. Colors are wondeful, thanks to the polariser filter. Well done !

This possible could have another critiques to be in the center of the frame. For me this is a great nature quality picture, very well composed, with excelent sky and earth-water contrast, fine colors and a excelent level of elements composing picture.
