The Philippine Banca seems to be as uniquely Filipino as the Sarao Jeep. Light and made for 2-3 people use this for fishing or tranporting people from island to island. Clearly, the weather will not permit such light crafts from leaving the beach.

Wonderful bright shot, it's so eye-catching due to the great contrast between the dark sky and the lighted foreground. And the saturated colors are just amazing. It's a pity I didn't see such colorful bancas during my stay at the Philippines. But I can enjoy your picture anyway.:))
