Photographer's Note

Ilocos Norte's best kept secret, is no secret anymore with a few postings here at Trekearth, Pagudpud Beach is fast becoming a major tourist attraction in this northern province of the Philippines. Aside from the fact that it lies along the coastline of lush tropical rainforest this is not yet as crowded as Boracay. Only small inns and restaurants can be found and not yet commercialized, and I hope it will stay that way to preserve its natural beauty. Its crystal torqouise blue water is so inviting, you can rent a motorboat to go to that farthest tip of the coastline if you want more privacy. I recommend to visit Bangui bay too where the 15 windmills are. It is along the way and Cape Bojeador Lighthouse in Burgos. Now thats 3 great tourists sights in just one day!
