Photographer's Note
1:00PM, 33 degrees Celsius, driving five hours from Vigan city, we stopped to see what the shore looks like in this part of the country and was surprised to see the big waves and all the surfers.
As I look for a place to park the car I met a guy with a British accent walking hurriedly while carrying his surf board and asked him where I can park. He tried to show me the directions but was unable to, telling me "sorry, my feet are burning"...
Photo was taken after we had our lunch in one of the resorts. I feel there is so much space in front of the girl and wanted to crop it out but I wanted show more of the dimension of the beach...

hi Alex
Good title! Many of us who trekked the hot sandy beach would know how it felt to walk on hot carpet :) This is a great vertical view of the beach scenery although I wish there would be some interesting FG feature to supplement the shot, mainly I find the space of sand area being a bit empty, if you know what I mean.
But nice work with a good exposure setting and a good note.
Greetings from Borneo.

Hello Alex,
I like how the two people, on a diagonal line, attract attention and draw the eyes across the textured beach towards the strong surf.
You have coped with the harsh sunlight well.
The vertical format gives a good impression of the extent of the beach and its rrelative seclusion.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Nice work shooting under that harsh sun.
