Photographer's Note
Digna was separating the grain from the chaff manually when I saw her. I approached and her face was covered with a white cotton towel. I gather that she does that so that the small debris do not go to her eyes and nostril.
She was so accomodating that when I asked if I could take her photograph, she eagerly took off her face cover and rolled it back into her "salakot" (a straw hat).
Dedication: To Rew Shearer, who believes that Philippine landscape colors are vibrant and magnificent. I think he is right.

PP work: Enhanced levels and hue/saturation a bit to make the colors
more vibrant. Nudged the dodge and saturate colors in tools also for more focused touches.

Hello Raul
Interesting moment, but what really cought my eye was the pure vibrant colours.
Seems you have captured the entire rainbow spectrum here!
Your composition seems to work, though she maybe be nicely palced in the center of the frame I feel that simply her having her arms out to the side like she is doing is enough to bring a different perspective to the entire photo.
Your choice of frame works great as well, the pure white brings the attention to the pure colours and beauty of this photo.

Haha ... thanks pare! I appreciate the dedication and I truly appreciate the colours. It's great to see, especially when it's such a dull-grey spring day in my part of the world ...

Quite an interesting photo here Raul, the composition is good, but the post processing you've done on it has given it a unqiue look. I like it. Well done.

\hello Raul,
just browsing through your pictures and there are too many I like to respond to all (at once, anyway). The thing I have noticed is the lovely colour quality about them. This one makes me thing of an illustration in a children's book. Not the modern primary colour, glossy, brash ones but one from one of an earlier date.Do you know what I mean?
There is a simple charm about this image.
