Along Quezon Avenue on the northern outskirts of San Fernando is the impressive Ma-Cho Temple, testament to the influence of the Chinese in the area, many of whose ancestors arrived before the Spanish did. The outside veranda gic=ves a good view of the san Fernando the Capital of La Union Province a 4-6 hours drive from north from Manila.
