Dapitan City is also called the Shrine City due to
its association with the country's national hero -
Dr. Jose P. Rizal. Rizal spent 4 years in Dapitan as
an exile. This picture was taken neaar Rizal's estate
in Talisay, Dapitan.

Hi Whoever You Are
I think this is a brilliant picture. A very beautiful gradual redish colour on the sky. You managed to capture the full setting sun without spoiling your image by its light. Very well done.
I think the exposure is also excellent. The boat and water are well lit. They both can be seen clearly.
Above all, I especially like your composition with the sun, the boat, and the 'what do you call it?' as the three main objects. Simple and beautiful.
Not to worry if you don't get enough points for this picture (that's how it is in TE, unless you're popular enough =) You have my appraisal.

I only can imagine such sight and love to get the sun at this size hence where I live is all surrounded by mountains, may LORD help me one day that I catch the plane to reach here, I have no words to explain, TFS.

hi NN,
amazing capture of a nature's beauty! dazzling color display of that well rounded humungous setting sun. a golden capture, indeed!
i totally agree with what Toby had written and in my own words i say... if you have lots of "fans" here, you get the points even if your work is lousy, so i suggest that you come up and present your real you by giving us your identity. both of us come from the zamboanga peninsula and, hey, it would be great to show the world what our place got to offer, ain't it?
