Photographer's Note
This is my favorite sunset picture, what you see is real. I was very lucky to witness it!
Boracay Island, with its sugary white sand beaches and azure blue waters, is located on the northwestern tip of Panay, Western Visayas. The best of the island is the 4 km. White Beach, touted as the “finest beach in the world.” The water surrounding the island is shallow and the sand is finer and brighter than most beaches in the archipelago.

This is an amazing picture, I can't believe that nobody has commented on it yet! I think a couple things make this good: 1) Having dark at the bottom and top balances out the photo quite well. 2) I don't know how you did it, but the strips of white in the middle of all the red makes the picture. 3) The sillouettes of the trees and the red reflection off of the water are textbook perfect.
Thanks! Mike

Beautiful and striking shot. The red shades of colour are amazing! I could hang this on my wall. The white fields in the red sky make this even more interesting. How did you do this? Was the sunset really this red?
Anyway it is stunning. Very well cmposed too, with the dark silhoette on the bottom, then the red sky and then dark sky at the top. Great capture!

Boracay's sky is an artist's canvass. Stunning skies and seascapes are bewilderingly routine for Boracay, but having it this red is really for the books. Beautiful image.... caveat, a bit over-sharpened (I can see the grotto's silhouette bleeding into the red background).
