While the summer season is officially over here in the Philippines, the clean and clear waters of Malcapuya in Coron, Palawan still lingers on my mind.

Hi Mics

An idylllic vision of the sans beach, well framed with the branches at left and on top, closing the image. The sea is crytal clear. You could have avoided the stone at bottom right.

This is a wonderful paradise!
The composition is nice with the trees in the foreground. The colours and sharpness are superb, almost l can feel the lovely, hot weather.

Hello,
very idyllic place and the lack of people enhances its paradise like character. Very good choice of POV to use some branches of the tree to frame the image and add some more depth. The colors are truly amazing and I like the light management here as well.

The tree is helping to frame the scene. The length of the beach is giving depth to the composition. I like the way you have divided the picture, the sky, the sea and the beach. The good luminosity is bringing out the ebauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Mics - Now this is a beach with loads of appeal, the colours of the sky and water are beautifully contrasted by the white sand and foliage. I do think the inclusion of the branches is an important part of your composition but the small piece of branch or rock next to the lower frame edge adds nothing but distraction to the shot. I would like to see a tiny bit more detail in the white sand too. With those two slight adjustments I think that your lovely photograph would be improved.

Were you on holiday? A place that looks gorgeous.

Hi Mics,

I was lucky enough to visit El Nido when I was last in the Philippines, a truly magical place. I flew over Coron on the way back to Manila. Another place I would love to visit one day! (Coron that is!) Good sharpness color and saturation. Tfs!

This looks like it could be featured in any travel magazine. I have never been to the Philippines although I have family from there. Maybe I should consider it. I'm not a beach person, but this photo is very inviting I must say. Perfect framing and composition especially, thanks for sharing.
