Photographer's Note

Tartanilla is a horse-drawn cart. Clippety-clop, clippety-clop... this used to be the transportation in Cebu City, Philippines in olden times - until they're banned from the busy streets. This one Tartanilla is the more luxurious kind... but it's free ride if you stay at Plantation Bay resort at Mactan Island, Cebu.

The colors give a fiesta-like feeling. In my honest opinion the saturation is a little bit overdone, at least to my taste.

Hi Daniel! The colors and sharpness are really great - they immediately attracted my attention. This is a very nice version of the calesa, it has more colors and decorations than the ones in Manila and other cities (Vigan, for example). Great Filipino cultural shot! rgds.

Truly wonderful colours you got on this capture - Your motif also well choosen and composed into the image - I like the fine details and the pose of that driver - And yes I agree - you got a good camera as well :-)
