Photographer's Note
This was one of the first days we went into Valencia City. It was probably around the time that we were trying to find an open Internet Cafe. We made the trip just about every other day, a grueling bumpy ride on an unpaved rocky road, the main road in Bukidnon, taking about 30 minutes to get there and back to Lilingayon. But after a while, I really got used to it, and most of the time, I looked forward to it. The countryside was so beautiful to look at and as I was in the back of a truck, unbuckled and free, it just was a good feeling! Anyway...this guy more than definately saw me, and he probably wondered to himself what this white young woman was doing with that camera! Americans are seldom seen in this part of the Philippines, so they felt as if it were a real treat to see one. I was flattered! ;)
