We see the preparation shashlik in Izmajlovskaja market hall in Moscow. Barbecue is a kind of kebab, which is particularly popular in the former Soviet Union. Most often composed of alternating units of meat and onions. The word shashlik was taken Kozak from the Crimean Tatars. Shashlik is most often prepared from prorostlejšího pieces of meat marinated overnight in a mixture of red wine, vinegar and spices. The meat is placed on a flat needles called Shampurs.
