Not a calming landscape, or seascape! Wind and elements are full of life and movement, energy. These pines are showing the main strong wind direction, from the sea, so do the snow and plants in dunes. Must be a windy place.
I think these pines are "pinus sylvestris", I cannot appreciate color in trunks but, are they red-orange colored? "Pinus Sylvestris" grow from Siberia and Mongolia, to Spain. We have them here, I like them very much.

Photo is wonderful, amazing. A coastline, a huge and wide tidal beach in sunset, free-snow sand (water swept the sonw) and sand covered with frozen snow. Very deep horizon, and dark pines against light is magnific.

I like a lot your photo, I wish I could be there walking!
