Photographer's Note
South of St. Petersburg is Peter the Great's summer palace, Peterhof. It was truly spectacular and this was the view from one of his windows of his gardens and the Baltic Sea. I lost a lot of resolution when I downsized it. Any recommendations?

Great, Anna!
This is my native city - St. Petersburg and I have trip there twice a year - I live in Germany - close to Frankfurt.

Very cool framing Alli, too bad about the soft focus though. It also would have been nice if you moved ever so slightly to the left so that the canal was centred between the window openings.
How did you resize this? Usually this doesn't resuld in lost focus, was this digital of film scanned into digital?
Cheers,
alex

annagrace;
you might try posting a link to the original if you have a way to do so.
there are also other places you can post the original photo to make it available on the internet for such a link.
peace,
haans :)
