Tikhvin (Russian: Ти́хвин, Finnish: Tihvinä) is a town in the northeast of Leningrad Oblast of Russia, 200 km east of St. Petersburg, at 59°38′N 33°31′ECoordinates: 59°38′N 33°31′E. Tikhvin is the administrative center of Tikhvinsky District. Population: 63,338 (2002 Census); 71,352 (1989 Census).
