If this shot was in focus, it would have been a good one. There are so many details here that I want to have a closer look at them as well as the tailor himself. You are using a good camera with good AF, but here the camera might have been shooting at a lower shutter speed, that's why you got all the blurriness. I would suggest you invest in a tripod. Than all your shots will be as sharp as you want them to be.

A nice capture of this tailor at work. I agree with Fil regarding the bluriness. Another helpfull tool could be a monopod, a one legged "tripod". It saves you time (no need to set up the tripods legs) and your subject, in case human :) would not be distracted too much during the proces of choosing an angle.

I added this pic to Colonial Art as tailoring with a sewing machine was began when Singapore was in colonial period. Furthermore, such design of sewing machine is a product of the West.
