Photographer's Note
Tea is synonymous with the beautiful island of Sri Lanka...the high country is where some of the best tea grows and this region, Maskeliya, is one of the most scenic of these plantation areas. With the Adams Peak, where Adam is supposed to have first set foot after being exiled from the Garden of Eden, rising high amidst the sea of tea, it is a beautiful place. Unfortunately, on this day, with the clouds and mist shrouding the mountains, Adams Peak decided not to make an appearance.
This is a typical basket used by the tea pluckers and as they were on their breakfast break, it stood tall amidst the tea plants with the clouds enveloping the mountains behind.

Hi Hemant,
I will have a thought for your image next time I will have a cup of tea: I know a little more now about it and where it comes from...You've chosen the right parameters in order to get proper sharpness in the FG and also in the BG so that you could assure a perfect depth into your image. Job well done.
Best regards.
Guy.

I like the basket parallel to the sole tree of the landscape and the green colour dominating the picture. It gives a lots of colour to your composition despite the grey sky.

lol...your 'object' shots are very good!! well, at least i wouldn't have been able to make much dramatic photography like this with a basket...and here you have fine colours and stunning contrasts provided by the bleak sky yet warm light source from behind. good work.

Hello Hemant
When I see your pictures, I cannot help but feel that you master the clouds, the sky & clouds very well as a result of which many of your pictures have some sort of radiance making them stand out...this is one of them, with fine focus on the basket, though the lady (I presume) carrying it is invisible, amidst the green tea leaves...our eyes moving above the valley onto the clouded top. Fine work!

Ola Hemant ,

Bravo!
