Photographer's Note
This will be the first posting from my Sri Lanka vacation I did in september.
The Maha Oya River is very important for the locals living there. It will be used as a washing machine, swimming pool, transportation route, giving water for their "industry",... serving a gorgeous nature.
We did a boat tour on the river and enjoyed its splendid banks offering several attractions.

He Thorsten,
So you've been to Sri Lanka, I'm looking forward to see the pictures. :-)
This one is very nice and well composed. I like the scene with the little town through the palm trees, well done!

Hi Thorsten,
A well composed shot of this exotic spot. I like the clarity and warm earthy colours. The angled trunk of the tree in the foreground nicely enhances. Very painterly, Thorsten. Great capture. All the best.

Hi Thorsten, A nice shot of the beautiful tropical scene. I like the view of the house hidden in the forest. A well taken picture with nice contrast, and clarity. Well done.

Hi Thorsten. Well if anybody on TE deserved a vacation it would be you! Such a good combination of sky and landscape. It looks like the palm trees were blowing around a little which a nice add. Well done Thorsten!
