trekking earth, a photo from Mae Hong Son, North

Photographer's Note

first of all,it's not late probably to say,HAPPY NEW YEAR for all.
this is my first photo of this year.

taken in the cold morning,about 7 degrees.you can see the fog on the river.and the atmosphere is foggy also.
so,the picture seems to be over exposed.but it gives a feeling in the thai way.and in somtimes,the over exposing is effective to illustrate the beautiful life at that moment,i think.
in buddhism,the monk is another caste.
that means,for this photo,he's not walking on the bamboo bridge.but he's trekking on the earth.

I really like this simple composition, Somkiat. The priest at lower right is well placed! I'm tempted to clone out the power lines above him, though. Nice work.

I like the lighting and the simplicity in this picture. Yet it captures a lot of meaning--The life pursuit of the buddist monk. TFS.

Hi Somkiat, this is a very nice shot of the monk crossing the bridge. You can almost feel the cold with the mist rising up from the water. The colour is good, it works very well with the mood. If there is one distraction for me, it is the wires running overhead.

This is a nice atmospheric picture of a bamboo bridge in Pai (Have you seen Senk Pictures of the same place?)I like the misty feel of the morning and the figure of the phra , probabaly on Bhindabaht. In a composition, I feel that figures walking into a frame rather than out of them, always work much better.leading the eye into the frame, not out of it.
