Photographer's Note

C'était très tôt le matin dans ce petit village très pauvre au nord de Chiang Mai. La dame était très concentré sur son travail dans une position que je jugeais très inconfortable mais qui semble normale dans ces régions.

Bonjour Serge,

C'est un bon portrait de cette dame absorbée dans son travail. La lumière est forte mais tu as sauvé le principal, ton sujet dont les vêtements colorés ressortent bien.

Bonjour Serge,

This is a lovely daily life shot revealing the extraordinary position of this worker as she pursues her careful needlework. So very different from using a sewing machine!
You have used the narrow dof to good effect, creating an interesting but unobtrusive b/g. I suggest a little brightening might bring out her facial details more.

Tu as fait un scan de bonne qualité de cette ancienne photo. La lumière est un peu forte mais met bien en valeur ses vêtements.

This is a great scan from film shot with beautiful light and colors. Excellent use of shallow DoF creating fine light bokeh in the background. I like the colorful dress and the concentration of this fine portrait.

the concentration of the girl is captivating and it's very interestig to observe the way that she's working as well as the details on her traditional costumes. I like vry much the strong contrasts. Ton titre est bien choisie car elle parait très attentionnée par son travail , ton cadrage est excellent, une belle luminosité et elle porte un bel ensemble de couleurs
