Last in a series of night time pictures captured in Bangkok Chinatown.

Some information about Bangkok's Chinatown from Wikipedea:

Chinatown is located in one of the oldest areas of Bangkok. It represents the resettlement of Chinese on the Western bank of Chao Phraya river after Rama I moved the capital of the kingdom from Thonburi to Rattanakosin. From there Chinese traders operated maritime junk trade between (Siam) and China throughout the Rattanakosin period. By the end of 1891, King Rama V had ordered the construction of many roads, including Yaowarat Road, one of the main roads through the area and a centre of activity.

Chinatown does not consist of only Yaowarat Road, but also includes others such as: Charoen Krung Road, Mungkorn Road, Songwat Road, Songsawat Road, Chakkrawat Road, etc. Yaowarat's Sam Peng Market is the centre of the area. The path of the road is said to resemble a dragon's curvy body, making it an auspicious location for business. There are many shops selling gold, garments, textiles, stationery, souvenirs, second-hand parts and equipment, electric goods, computer parts, antiques, imported musical instruments and local delicacies.

One of the best memories I have of Bangkok is the superb food and its generally safe to eat all through the city. A superb daily life scene with vibrant color and nice warm cold colour contrasts between the hot and cold colors of pink red yellow vs blue. A busy scene with lots to look at. Tfs!

Hi Stephen. Traveling with the camera in Thailand. In this exotic country, you can find the most beautiful motifs. I like the photo well because it is very realistic and unaffected.

un ottimo controllo delle luci e dei colori molto vivaci.
Una bella scena, molto movimentata e ricca di dettagli.
Forse avrei preferito un taglio verticale per predere più figure intere possibili.

Hello Stephen - One is never too far away from street food in Bangkok and most of it is delicious (and cheap!) This is a typical scene with the carts on the roadside and small table occupied by locals eating. Never mind day or night trade always seems to be brisk. A vibrant shot full of bustling and busy people. I wish I was there. Warm regards rosemary
