Abstraction Afloat, a photo from Bangkok, Central

Photographer's Note

My brother who is an artist (also a photographer hobbyist) call this shot an "abstraction". I like his title.
This Floating Market scene was taken in a place two hours drive from Bangkok. When I got there, I was unstoppable. I fired shot after shot and before long, I was out of memory. The scenes were colorful and it truly was, and still is, a photographer's utopia.
This goes without saying that this is just the first of my floating markets pictures. More to come...

Yes, this is an "abstraction". Very simple shot with nice shapes and effective colors. Very interesting angle and very well framed. I also like that motion blurred oar(?).

I´m not sure about focusing; I think the hat should be sharp – to me it looks like it isn´t (or perhaps it´s just the motion that makes it unsharp). Very well done in any case.

Well, I'm curious about the rest! very nice moment you captured here. The bananas and the hat are great. I think I would have cropped of a it of the person. With just the round shapes and banashapes the photo would be even more an abstraction.

Very nice view. Almost a painting. I kind of like it this way, a little bit out of focus..Nice composition. Where you on a bridge? Or a boat?

Amazing shot...the colors are just striking and there is a smoothe feel to it. I like it too and especially because it is "different", very well captured!

I had not seen this photo. I am impressed! the angle you chose is amazing and excellent! light does also for the overall charm and beauty of this shot IMO;-) congrats!
