Photographer's Note

This picture is TE-inspired and "produced".
First, the story...
This beggar is a familiar site to me everyday. And this child practically grow under my eyes. Frankly speaking, I've never given her (the mother) an alm until last weekend. You see, I hate adults using children as a prop for begging. This woman is no exception. She's young and healthy but she's trying to earn her living through an easy way. I gave them 20 baht and I took 4 pictures of them. It was 10 A.M. and everyone who have been to Bangkok knows how melting the heat is at around that time. With the PS knowledge that I've learned from TE-workshops, I retained the color of the child because she's the only "hopeful" person in this pic. I also experimented on cropping and composition, again using what i've observed in TE. Please give me comments about my PS attempts. Sorry to those who abhor PS-altered picture.
(Auto-level, contrast, color. Using two layers, I made one grayscale then revealed the bottom layer to expose the color of the child. Also adjusted down the saturation level.)
