Photographer's Note
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, very busy and very turisty place. I think there is more tourists than local people. Anyway, still there is a lot of action, a lot of photo opportunities, maybe even too much, it is very difficult to focus on something, being there you want to shoot everything around, hard times for cameras...
After two days spent in Bangok I decided to send the last day visiting this market. I went there on a half-day tour I booked in Bangkok, the market is about 100km away. On the same day in the evening I took a plane from Bangkok to Saigon...
Original capture, no cropping, PS - resize, levels and contrast a bit, sharpening, frame.

This is beautiful, Maciej, maybe the best floating market shot I saw here. Beautiful composition with many shapes and colors. I like the bannanas, the bannan leaf, the scale, the hats, the buckets. Verey very effective cropping and framing. One of my favorites. I added to my "floating markets" theme. Very very well done.

Great colors, interesting details, very good tight framing. I especially like the repetition of round shapes in various objects.

Beautiful image, sharp and well framed, nicely filled up with round shapes... It definately gives a friendly mood, but I think all the markets of the worlds, with their sounds, their bright colours, and their scents, are giving such "feeling good" impressions.
Thank you for sharing Maciek!

Nice colors. I exactly have the same feeling when I went there. In my 10 years in Thailand, I've been there only once but do I like to go back? Maybe not very soon. It is too crowded and there is sooo much to take. It is quite overwhelming. You have to be in a certain "psyche" to join the fray. I will just concentrate in my neighborhood, in the meantime.
Anyway, this tight composition is a good approach to isolate your subjects. I see some distractions like the boat on the right BUT we can't do anything about it unless you rotate it or clone it out. Still a good shot though.

Interesting to see a snap shot in to these peoples lives. Taken from above you know there are not posing.
I like the round hats and plates and of course the colours. Well done.

Yes, you captured the shapes and the colors very well. I like the repetition of all the circles in the photo. Well done!

Very beautiful and your title is really representative of that shot. The colors are nice and the framing is just perfect, just tight enough with the same portion of the hats being cut off on each side.

Great composition, as always. Taken from a good position to show these round hats. Captures the atmosphere of a market.

I've seen many pictures from this place, I didn't manage to get there by myself, this one is very good - point for coming quite close too them, although I think it's rather hard to take something really original there (the problem with such well-known places)
