Photographer's Note

As I saw Marilyn's recent post about these plastic fruit shops in Chatuchak week end market, I just wanted to contribute to that theme! So here is a close up of litchies (right)peanuts, and rambutans (hairy ones)...
They look quite realistic and these shops are very colorful...

on dirai des vrais si on ne regarde pas de prés, belle couleur et netteté, on les mangerait presque, bien travaillé

Very real look on the faces of those polymeric fruits. Having eaten the lunch 6 hours ago, i become quite hungry looking at their delicious color :) Sharpness and colors do that all. Great!

Il n'y a que des fruits en plastique dans ce pays! J'avais déjà vu ceux de Marilyn. Moi je préfère les vrais, mais quelles belles couleurs! Bien cadré aussi.

C'est de la photo réalité, je vois même les soudures des "moulages".. et pourtant ils ont certainement l'air d'être vrais.

It is not a kind of subject I would like to see... Actually I would prefer to see natural fruits. But... I must admit that the composition is colorful and the picture was well taken, without many reflections from the plastic. Anyway, it is a theme and somebody should present it, and you did it well.

Well, you certainly had me fooled until I read your note. Crisp sharp tones with the "fruit" seen with great vivid clarity. The assortment and variety here is impressive, and these would be succulent specimens for any palate. Well captured. Amicalement.

You have got spot on sharpness and very harsh plastic colour. It has a kind of Jackson Pollock kind of all over composition. I have solved the problem of the plastic fruit, just like the wooden tulips. Jatujak is a big exporters market, lots of the goods sold there are for export. Most of the wooded tulips go to Holland; most of the plastic fruit goes to Italy and Spain,etc, so I am told. Maybe your plastic mangostines are on some Spanish sideboard right now. regards Kevin

The litchies and the peanuts are known to me, but what are rambutans? How do they look from inside? What is there taste? TE has still a lot of improving possibilities. Colors do not give the whole picture.
Very colorful indeed and your title and image reminded me straight ahead of Marylin's post almost a year ago.

tu nous donnes presque envie de manger du plastique tellement les couleurs sont chatoyantes et diversifiées. L'équilibre des teintes et des couleurs s'opère sur toute la surface, donnant un beau graphisme plein de rondeurs.
