Photographer's Note

This was very much a split second shot at Farhad market in bustling Tashkent on a winter afternoon - often I find market is the best spot to find images of local characters. I was very much taken by this honey seller who seemed totally lost in thought oblivious to the surroundings and probably daydreaming miles away. Or she kinda daydream believer! but can't imagine what's really bothering her though and wasn't sure did she ever 'return to the real world' soonest when I left the place. The colours, the noise, the smells of the market and of course the photogenic people are part of the unforgettable photo experience of visiting this exotic place as well as being lucky to make some memorable pictures.

Nothing out of ordinary and not technically good, its just a casual grab of another face.

Perhaps you can make up your own story...
