Photographer's Note

Guang Yu (Quan Đế) temple is a Chinese temple in Ho chi minh city. It had been built before 1819 and it was built more in 1819-1820. It's called "chùa Ông" in Ho chi minh city. "Ông" means a king, grand mandarin or god. They don't call his name because Guang Yu is respected as a God in Chinese, many Chinese immigrated to South Vietnam at end of Ming dynasty. They had a grand immigration for escaping Qing dynasty. They built many temples, buildings and their cultures have been existing in Ho chi minh city.
This a beautiful temple. Ceilings, columns, walls are decorated very fine. Many people visit here everyday.
