Photographer's Note
This was taken many years ago with my Nikon EM SLR. I was trying out my scanner and came across it. Whilst on holiday in Barbados we were having breakfast on the balcony of our room and had put some pieces of fruit on the wall next to the coffee cup. The birds were quite bold, but it was difficult to get one sitting quietly for a few seconds.

Incredible photo!!!
I don`t know how many seconds you had to make the settings, but it is very well shot and great aesthetically.
PS the bird is a bit under-exposed, but you can`t have it all....

Great to see a shot out of one of the good old Nikon EMs. Used to have one of those and still miss it sorely today every time the replacement 401x refuses to shoot "on account of too little light". The EM never played similar tricks on you ;-)
Knowing the EM, I also know that this shot has not been easy to take, so you really made a great capture there.
PS hope you checked the cup before drinking afterwards. Birds have a tendency to Oops on takeoff ;-)

Very nice composition in what I'm sure was a quick reaction to get the finger to the button! You may be able to boost the yellow on the breast.

Such a nice capture Joan!
A bit of a pity of the little bit blurry execution, but yes! It's a cute bird indeed... And it should have enjoyed coffee time, so it ought to be on my "Cuppa's Theme" ;o)
