Photographer's Note

Many of the buildings in old Havana are in disrepair. The city has been undergoing major restoration projects in the past few years. These scaffolds prop up one of the few remaining walls of a building on the Prado, the city's most fashionable boulevard. The purple and blue hues of a sunset, matching the peeling paint of the ruins inspired me to make this abstract.
