Photographer's Note
Trinidad, founded in 1514 by Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar under the name Villa De la Santísima Trinidad, is a town in central Cuba. It’s one of the best preserved cities in the Caribbean from the time when the sugar trade was the main industry in the region. Nowadays, Trinidad's main industry is tobacco processing.
Historic Trinidad is famous for its lovely, cobblestone streets, pastel coloured houses with elaborate wrought-iron grills, interesting windows within larger windows or gates within larger gates, as well as museum-like palaces.
You can see children playing baseball in its plazas, old ladies watching people passing by thru their grilled windows, or young girls dressed in attractive colors wandering in the streets.
Scanned from slide, cropped, increased sharpness and saturation. Applied Neat Image and gradual toning.
