C U B A, a photo from La Habana, West

Photographer's Note

After two posts from Norway and one from France, it`s time to step into the time machine again and get back to Havana and Cuba. Walking the streets of Havana, I was searching for scenes with old, classic American cars. What cen be more Cuban than that? I came across this scene with an old Ford (I belive) from the 1950s driving in a street named after the country. The title of course have to be - Cuba.

Erling, these vintage American cars and the cobbled streets belong to the charm of La Habana. This car was customized, a luggage rack was added and the car body was repainted in blue and white. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Your journey in your time machine has been a successful one! And this was a perfect catch - an old classic American "station wagon" in a street called "Cuba" in Cuba! What more could you have asked for? :)

The blue and white car stands out brilliantly against the dull colours of the street and the building behind it. The light is perfect, the colours rich, your exposure perfect and the details and sharpness are exquisite.

This is classic, Erling.
The old American car in beautiful blue and white paint, contrast well onto the brown and beige building across the street.

Hej Erling,
Den här bilen får mig att tänka på taxin som användes som skolskjuts i min värmländska by (landsby) på 50-talet. Men gatan ser inte alls ut som i Värmland, varken då eller nu. Ett praktexemplar till klassisk "amerikanare", och åtminstone på avstånd ser den välskött och fin ut.
Det finns många bilälskare på TE, så det här blir säkert en populär bild.

When I think of Cuba, I think of live music and Salsa. Well, come to old classic cars.....CUBA it is then.
This is a fine and well maintain masterpiece car. That's coincidence the street named CUBA as you took this picture. Very well seen.

Et meget godt indtryk fra gaderne i Havana med denne klassiske bil med sin fine kombination af lyseblåt og hvidt på siden. Det danner en god kontrast med farverne af huset i baggrunden. Godt fanget.
