Photographer's Note

Last Saturday I went to the Fifth Centennary Racecourse complex in the East portion of Santo Domingo. The "Clásico Kalil Haché" was being celebrated that day, and it was such an experience for me. I never went to a racecourse before, and had a bunch of surprises. I arrived before noon, and as the races were programmed for 2.30pm I had plenty of time to explore the buildings and the surroundings. I took several pictures, and this is the first of my series on Clásico Kalil Haché.

The place was empty when I took this picture. ONly a few clerks were getting ready for the public, and a few children were playing around. I spotted this couple running over the benches in a strange chase or one another. I shooted with high speed and small aperture to create the silhouettes.

Post Production: I used Variations to blue the sky, that came totally burned out.

PS: I'll try (for real) to spend more time on TE next week. Please forgive me once again for not visiting my friend's pictures as much as I wished...
