La famosa illa Saona, a la República Dominicana, te una forma allargada que corre paral.lela a l'illa de l'Hispaniola. A la punta que dona contra l'oceà Atlàntic hi trobem la platja del Canto de la Playa.
Aquesta és una platja molt poc visitada, perquè s'han de fer molts kilómetres en barca i pocs turistes hi arriben, però és una de les platjes més boniques que hi han. Diuen que està entre les 10 platjes més boniques del mon "autonetejables", és a dir, que la marea cada dia la neteja.

The famous Saona island, in the Dominican Republic, has an elongated shape that runs parallel to the island of Hispaniola. Tip overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is the beach el Canto de la Playa. This is a beach little visited, because they have made many miles by boat and few tourists arrive, but is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It's rated among the most beautiful 10 auto cleanup, because the tide cleans it every day.
