Photographer's Note

This is the church of La Santa Cruz de Roma, located in Panchimalco, 17 km from San Salvador, capital city of the country.
The church was built from 1738 to 1739 by local people under the direction of Spanish priests, in Baroque style. It consist of a central nave supported by 16 wooden columns of balsam, as well as two side naves. It measures 40 m length and 18 m wide.
