Photographer's Note
This is the first photo of my trip to Nicaragua.
What we see here is Punta de Jesus Maria, a narrow strip of sand and one of the best places to enjoy sunset in the Ometepe Island.
The Ometepe Island is the largest island in the country. It's formed by two volcanoes (Conception and Maderas) and it's situated in the Lake Nicaragua. A wonderful place to spend a few days enjoying nature.

Hello Ana,
The long spit of land creates good depth, which is further improved by the persons seen halfway across to the beach. There is a fine light shining on the volcano, and the small cloud that seems to be resting on the summit is quite pretty.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bonjour Ana,

Hi Ana
Impressive sweeping view that says it all with your description. Photowise this image is beautifully taken with superb light, shadows and lighting with strong foreground interest directing the eye to the volcano - the smoke certainly makes the atmosphere even more special. A compo of the day with good contrast and detail. Delightful shot, well done. Congrats
Best regards

Ola Ana
I've been offline for a couple of days (one of the small pleasures in life), but now it's great to do some catching up here. Nicaragua is a country I'd love to visit, so I'm looking forward to more of your pictures. THis one certainly is a great start.
Thanks for your critiques & my best wishes for the new year

Hello Ana,
The narrow strip of black sand, fragments of basalt of the volcano I guess, leads us well to the conical volcano.
Very pretty with the cloud hanging around the top.
A very beautiful picture with excellent depth.
Best regards, Paul
