Fun at sunset...., a photo from Rivas, South

Photographer's Note

Moyogalpa is a little town in Ometepe, where we can get the ferry to San Jorge. It's also a good place to enjoy the sunset by the end of the day, when the last ferry leaves and the kids start gathering to play there.
The Ometepe Island is the largest island in the country. It's formed by two volcanoes (Conception and Maderas) and it's situated in the Lake Nicaragua. A wonderful place to spend a few days enjoying nature.

Hello Ana,
The setting sun provides pretty warm tones on the wooden boat.
The diving boy seems to touch the narrow strip of land at the lakeside.

This is a fine capture of childish joy, which along with the warm tones of sunset has created a wonderful atmosphere. Maybe the children's life is tough but at this moment they have no thoughts of the realities of life.

Hello Ana,

This is a wonderful action shot by sunset. You've captured the moment beautifully, the boy making a devil's leap. It's reminiscent of a fleeting moment I was able to freeze while visiting North Shore of Oahu, see In flight. I hope you are well in the New Year. Although the world seems to have abandoned all common sense during the past year.

Ola Ana, very nice photo, the sunset light hitting the boat and the boys jumping from it make avery good composition, unfortunately you couldn't frooze the movement of the jumper because of the low light condition

On ne pouvait pas faire mieux comme moment et comme plongeon. Le coucher de soleil sur la gauche offre de belles couleurs sur le vieux bateau tout rouillé.Les ombres chinoises sont fantastiques.

What a fabulous photo! The lighting and colors are very special, and so are the two silhouettes, one of which is frozen in the air as it falls to the water below. I like how the wooden ship fills the right side of the frame, too. Very nice. :-)

Hi Ana,
great capture. A friend of mine told me that two of his family members have died because of such jumping into the sea. But nevertheless it looks quite relaxing in a picture. Of course the person caught in the flight makes the highlight here. The colors of the setting sun create an amazing ambiance.
