Photographer's Note
Most of Albanians live only one step away from nature so if you have had enough of it all just take the first turning on the left or right and you have escaped. This man probably had a list of chores to do and said to himself “ oh.. I am going fishing!” He gets his box with the fishing line hooks and lead and starts walking, he picks up a stick on the way to use as the rod and some worms or insects to use as the bait and he is done. If I wanted to do the same here in the UK I would have to buy fishing equipment, do all the car business, find out about licensing, get a licence (possibly available on-line!) and after insuring my feet and my shoes and getting stressed to the eyeballs in the process I would be ready to go and relax fishing!!
For the ones who like fishing this many in all probability is fishing for barbel and eel using earth worms.

Hi Aleks, I really enjoyed your note to include the contrast in "going fishing" in Albania and doing the same in the UK. I am afraid it would be similar here in the USA as in the UK. This is a nice shot of a fisherman and his gear.
I have fished all my life until I moved to the desert here. I think you have captured a real scene of escaping. I wonder if there are trout in that water as well as barbel and eel? Have a good weekend. Roger
