Jale Beach Lookout, a photo from Vlore, South

Photographer's Note

A view of Jale Beach (also spelled as Jala or Jali) looking south from the main road. I stayed in Vuno up on the hill but would not recommend it. It is 2-3 km away from the beach, which is the whole purpose of coming to the Albanian Riviera. Himare to the south would be a better choice. Not as overly built up or congested as Sarande. And prices in Albania are a real bargain, less than 1/3 the cost of Dubrovnik in Croatia.

Hello Chris,
I travelled down along the entire Albanian coast but never got very close to the sea. This view indicates that parts of this area are already too exploited for my taste. But the green hills and the blue and turquoise sea look as great as any Greek island. This is a good composition with a fine exposure.

Not exceptionnal architecture (some ugly buildings , unfortunately), but a splendid view of this coastline with superb collors . Especially the sea .

Une vue étonnante depuis les hauteurs. Cette voie transformée en parc de stationnement (sauf erreur) borde la falaise qui plonge sur l'océan.
Les plages tout en bas bénéficient d'un aménagement original;

Quel beau point de vue sur cette superbe rive. La plage est belle et semble remplie à souhaites de parasols et la mer offre ses plus belles couleurs en pâture.

Hello Chris, Nice view of this beach from abov, But probably too far away to stay there. I was in Sarande but I treated it as a base for the trips, I was maybe once on the beach during the week stay there.

Splendid view of the coastline, great photo, I can see on the beach is a sea of sunbeds, I cant imagine how children could enjoy the sand and beach,

Wonderful shoreline with blue, green and turquoise water we see from above.
Also, it looks as a well arrange beaches with facilities ready for the many tourists in summer. Green landscape in contrast, beautiful picture taken under an excellent visibility.

A splendid panoramic view of this beautiful corner of the Albanian coast, ideally the greenery of its hills and the wonderful blue sea, the place seems quite calm.
