The triangular Venetian fortress (alb. Kalaja trekëndore) was built in the times when Butrint was a Venetian enclave surrounded by the Ottoman Empire. It is situated on the banks of Vivari straight on the opposite side of the peninsula of Butrint.

Fantastic place and picture. I like these branches and the wall to emoldurate the picture. Very nice color of these waters.
