Hill tops were above the fog during the night. Low temperatures let the wetness freeze in foggy parts.

In the early morning sun cleared the low clouds and illuminated the hoarfrost.

Still some haze around.

da wird mir kalt. Das Weiß auf den Bäumen kommt sehr gut rüber. Der Dunstschleier vor dem Hintergrund und der weiße Fels auf dem Berg geben eine gute Zusammenstellung in all dem Braun der Bäume.

Hi Knut,
Very pleasing, with the fog rolling about and the light snow providing a light cover on the trees. I like the double layered effect here, with the section of snowy slope exposed above. There is also good contrast between coniferous and deciduous trees here. Despite the late autumn foliage, winter is definitely descending. Well captured. Have a good weekend.

Guess there is some altitude here to have the frost fog this morning. Very nice capture Knut with the fog and the layer of ice on the branches of the trees. Good too see these days with the strange climate this time of the year.

This is an excellent composition, these fringes of fog playing 'hide and seek' with the last colors of autumn an d the first white patches of winter! Nice vivid colors. Congratulations.

Yes... just a tad on the frosty side! Good sharpness, colour & composition, with excellent lighting & pov. I like the layering, obscured bg in the fog, & the vague blue sky. Tfs!
