A Music Box for Your Christmas, a photo from Vienna, East

Photographer's Note

This nice music box was photo captured in my last voyage to Vienna. This photo was taken by a non digital camera and is a scanned picture of my old pictures.

Multiple public little annoucements in the wall are exposed along this street. I find appropriate to post this photo at Christmas, because remember and transmit music and messages of faith and hope for all of you.

I hope you enjoy and have a good Christmas all the years in your life.

What a kewl little vehichle he has :) When I look at it, it's seems to be mid steered too. I wonder in how many countries that one would be totally illegal.
It makes a great contrast to the otherwise concrete surroundings.

Hi Fernando. An interesting scene with the street musician playing his original and colorful music box in front of the urban surroundings. You must have taken this early during the day, I am amazed at the absence of people except the musician and the guy in the hot dog stand. Well captured. -- Feliz Natal to you.

A sweet picture but it needs to be cropped. Sometimes negative space can be useful but not in this case. I like (like Norbert) the absence of people. Have a look at my workshop.

Funny picture. Great colours and sharpness, but personally, I think that should have tried to get closer to the music box, then we could see more of the concentration on the mans face. Nevertheless: great picture. Merry Xmas!

Olá, Fernando. What an excellent photo with this original subject in a very nice scene.
Colors are great and is amazing the contrast between the red color and the rest of the picture ,its a wonderful composition.
It calls the attention the absence of people on the streets ( except the musician and the "hot dog" stand workers). Muito bom trabalho.

Fernando, agora que já me organizei aqui no TE, é um pouco complicado ao principio pois é tudo novo, tenho tido tempo de ver algumas fotos mais antigas...

Do teu portofolio deparei-me com esta, acho que é uma verdadeira preciosidade... a mistura de cores, com o homem a dar corda à caixa de musica está fantastica.

Concordo que a cena capturada aqui tem muito a haver com espírito Natalício, invocando desejos de um melhor futuro para todos. As mensagens penduradas são uma excelente ideia e trasmitem uma atmosfera de partilha pública muito interessante. As cores vivas e a caixa de música contribuem para o ambiente festivo, embora o facto de não se ver mais ninguém na rua seja estranho. Gosto mais deste enquadramento geral do que o crop do ws que oferece uma melhor percepção da imagem desta bela cidade. Muito obrigado pela partilha do seu excelente trabalho.

p.s.1 - A propósito, os meus últimos posts, são de fotografias tiradas com a minha digital compacta ixus, o que tem a vantagem de não necessitar do incómodo scanner, mas tem alguma limitação em fotografias mais exigentes.
