Street Circle Moving M.Phones, a photo from Brussels, Brussels

Photographer's Note

This my third shot of this Serie of street Shots, and this is in Brussels at Grand Plaz. I call Circle moving phones because these two persons seem moving with their mobile phones, in circle and curious mouvement in this area of the Plaz and because the interesting details of these interesting buildings! This photo was taken by a non digital camera and I scanned the original 35 mm film, and cropped a little bit from the left to emphasize this two persons. I hope you enjoy!

hi fernando, that place (grand maarkt in flamish) is a lovely one but being there i found it quite difficult for photographing - many different architecture styles are close to each other; you have managed to take a good shot of the maarkt

Imagem interessante. Gosto bastante dos contrastes acentuados e da atmosfera pesada criada pela pouca luz e edificios escuros. Igualmente o pormenor da roupa da mulher quase nos faz sentir o vento e traz dinâmica à imagem. O crop foi uma boa opção e penso que cortando um pouco do topo para fazer o céu desaparecer, bem como algum do trabalho mais complexo dos edificios iria criar um plano de fundo mais padronizado e aumentar a força das pessoas na imagem.

Hi Fernando, glad to see how much other viewers enjoy this contemporary street scene now that the accent has been put on the people and the buildings in the proper balance. It would of course have been even better if you had the lady's legs in the frame, but I think you know that.

Nice....appropriate strong colors. The placement of the lady at the bottom and the color of her dress undeniably makes her the focal point.

The excellent sharpness and rich textures on facades offer here a lot of detail and the sharpness is excellent. The framing you chosen, the typical narrow and high Flemish houses, and the columns highlight the verticality of this architecture. The title well-outlines the odd atmosphere rendered by these two strange persons, the phone "screwed" on their ear. That gives an absurd touch to the scene. Well Done, Fernando! An excellent Daily life shot, totally in the TE spirit.

Another fine street shot of yours - the background view of architecture could stands very nice alone - and the people give a great extra element in the image - I like the windy look and way they seems to communicate (perhaps with each other ;-) Thanks Fernando for sharing this.

Funny, these people telephoning with each others, it seems like that.
When I'm walking in Amsterdam, I see the same, the most people with one arm beside their ear, horrible !
No-one sees the details around them....

Assim que vi esta foto, pensei: onde é que já vi isto? Então procurei e encontrei, Fernando..., por isso transcrevo o que escrevi na altura, noutro local:

Belos edifícios e também gostei do pormenor das pessoas com telemóveis; uma cena de vida diária, de facto!

Le cadrage permet d'apprécier l'architecture de l'édifice et d'apprécier aussi une bonne netteté.
Le cadrage serré évite d'avoir un ciel blanc qui aurait donné moins d'intéret à la scène.
J'espère que le traducteur que j'utilise est comprehensible pour vous.

O enquadramento permite apreciar a arquitectura do edifício e apreciar também uma boa clareza. O enquadramento apertado evita ter um céu branco que teria dado menos interesse à cena. Espero que o tradutor que utilizo é compreensível para vocês.
