Photographer's Note
Currently I am in Brussels, revisiting some old haunts, and old friends.
The Atomium was built for the 1958 World Exhibition, and represents an iron crystal at the atomic level, magnified 165 billion times. The structure was renovated from 2004 to 2006, during which time the former aluminium coating of the 9 spheres was replaced with stainless steel, and the interior was modified.
