Delighted... such is the translation of the Latin term "Laetare". It is used to name the carnivals which occur to Wallonia to the Mid-Lent, three weeks before the Easter.

The Gilles of Louvière, whose costume is strictly identical to the Gilles de Binche, have a tradition of more than 150 years!

Here, we are sunday evening, the 6 companies of Gilles leave without hat, fortunately because it snows, and walk in the streets of the center of the city.
