Description: In the center of Bastogne you can find this very nice restaurant. When we can we go there for a very, very good meal. You can choose out of various local specialities presented in a very tasty manor.

This restaurant started in this wagon in 1946, just after the war, selling, you could guess if you know belgium specialities, fried potatoechips from the two larger windows on the right side.

This restaurant is often visited by war veterans because this town also has a very rich war history. We certainly would recommend this restaurant, one of the best, to have a nice dinner in style.

Technical aspects: Because of some reason the owner placed two chairs on the parking space. Because of that the view on the restaurant wasn't blocked anymore by parked cars. I just waited until no cars passed by. To compensate for the slow shutterspeed I leaned against a lampost for stabilisation reasons.

Postprocessing: PhotoShop, some L, CB and a bit USM.

Conditions: End of the day, just after a very good meal. Oef!

My Goal: I tried to capture the atmosphere created by the neon lights and the soft glow on the wagon. Also to present this place very nicely to invite you to go there if you are in the area. Like in the song: We'll meet again..do know where...don't know when..
