Oostkerke, some km of Brugge. is a typical village of Flemish polders with white houses and red roofs.

A polder is a low-lying tract of land enclosed by embankments know as dikes. In Europa, there are polders especially in Netherlands but also in the north of France and Belgium.

Hi Roger,

Great framing and composition. The hedgerow in the foreground provides a strong interest and then moves so well diagonally through the middle of the image. Excellent sharpness and clarity too. Thanks for sharing.

très jolie composition avec ce superbe moulin entouré de verdure. Le format est bien choisi, il permet à la haie de souligné magnifiquement le moulin et d'occulter un peu le ciel voilé. Bravo.

La distance entre la haie et le moulin donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de l,architecture du moulin. La lumière donne un bon contraste aux couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Hello Roger,
I like the point of view here using the hedge line as an interesting frame and placing the windmill off centre. The whitewashed mill contrasts very well with its verdant surroundings. Very good sharpness.

Stavo ammirando la tua foto del Marocco, dai bei colori e dalla scena interessante, ma io sono un inguaribile amante della natura e questo dolce paesaggio olandese dove l'architettura si integra bene con la natura mi ispsira maggiormente. Un'ottima composizione, ben calibrata e di grande bellezza.

Bonjour Roger,
Il y a bien un endroit que je ne souhaite pas habiter, ce sont les polders car je ne dormirais pas la nuit d'être sous le niveau normal des eaux :) Cela dit ce sont des paysages magnifiques, avec ces moulins qui poussent comme les arbres. Excellente composition avec la qualité garantie habituelle. Bravo.
