2020. I took this photo yesterday along the canal that I cycle by almost every day.
But many have found their way here through corona time.

Where do the sheep graze?

Sheep grazing is ideal where machine mowing is difficult.
For example, some roadsides or slopes (an embankment is a verge on a slope) are difficult to reach and it is often difficult to remove the cuttings.
Grass clippings left behind are not good for vegetation and can cause problems with gullies.
From April to November you can see sheep grazing along this canal. They also regularly move to a different plot. In the winter months they remain in the stable.
The farmer
The sheep along this canal are well cared for and are safely behind a grid, the farmer takes care of that.
He will ensure that the sheep are not short of anything.
