‘Kortrijk - Grand Market Square seen from the church tower’

Kortrijk’s Grand Market Square (Grote Markt) seen from the tower of the Saint Martin's Church (Sint-Maartenskerk).
The same tower from which I showed the view of the beguinage in my first picture of this series.

At the bottom left you find the belfry tower.
You can see the light grey facade of the town hall in the middle of the photo.
Behind it the two towers of Saint Michael's Church (Sint-Michielskerk).

In this photo you can see that the artwork 'Happy together' of the South Korean artist Choi Jeong-Hwa is not really a labyrinth. The different rows of cat-litter boxes and pet beds were arranged in circles.
Like many of you, I didn't think it was the top piece of art right away. But it lent itself well to taking pictures with other monuments of the city in the background.
