A view along the Potterie river embankment, shot at a rather early morning since I didn't have enough time later in the day. Postprocessing in Photoshop: desaturate, apply custom gradient map, a bit of softness added.

Nice idea to post it in B&W and soften this image at the same time. It gives a romantic atmosphere. Lovely reflection in the canal.
Slightly tilted to the right.

Very nice shot Alexandra! Welcome to TE. However I don't have the same vision as hendrik, personnaly, I think by adding softness to the picture makes it out of focus, mabe because it probably also need a little rotation that makes it look like if you moved when you tooke it. I hope you don't mind me, I did a little W.S. on it and I hope you'll like it...Gaétan. Looking forward to see Bruges II
